Guided History Walks Around Colyton

Take a guided stroll around the old town and discover Colyton’s rich history and historic buildings. The tour (usually lasting a little over an hour) finishes at Colyton Heritage Centre where you will have the opportunity of a short visit to our small museum and view the medieval wall painting.

Every Thursday from 4th April to 26th September, 2024.

  • The walks start at 2pm and leave from the Car Park in Dolphin Street.
  • The cost of the walk is £5 per person, under sixteens are free.
  • No need to book – just turn up (whatever the weather!).

The story of the Feoffees founded during the reign of King Henry VIII. A glimpse into Colyton’s fascinating history, exploring the winding streets and the very early origins of St Andrew’s Church.

The Society can also arrange walks for groups at any time – except on Thursdays – during the year.
