Chairman, Tony Underdown and members of the Colyton Chamber of Feoffees were welcomed to the Heritage Centre on Wednesday evening, 16 November by Mrs Marian Sydenham, Chairman of CPHS and members of the Project Steering Committee for an update on progress with the Parish History Project. The Feoffees were shown the new digitizing equipment and briefed on how the plans for copying, cataloguing and transcribing their historic archive were developing. They were also given a preview of the interactive display which will be available to visitors to the Heritage Centre from next year. This will include displays of items from the Feoffees’ archive, historic maps and information drawn from the research which volunteers have been doing.
