Colyton Heritage Centre will now be open on Tuesdays 10.30am – 3 pm and Saturdays 10.30 am – 1 pm throughout November and till Christmas. Volunteer members of the Colyton Parish History Society and town walk guides celebrated a successful first season for the Heritage Centre at a tea party yesterday, Monday 13 October 2014 . The Heritage Centre has received over 2500 visitors since it opened in April surpassing expectations. The Centre was due to close at the end of October for the winter but so successful has it been that it has been decided to continue to open two days a week in the run up to Christmas.
