We recently came across this intriguing little map when preparing some of the Feoffees’ documents for digitising.  There is no indication of the age of the plan on the document but it tells a story of how a man may lay his belly on the bound stone with his right hand in Branscombe, his left.. read more →

The Heritage Centre opened for its fifth season this week with some exciting new exhibits. Walking Tours of Colyton – 2017

Weekly walking tours of Colyton are offered every Thursday afternoon at 2.00 pm from 6 April to 28 September 2017. The tours take place regardless of weather and start at 2.00 pm from the town car park in Dolphin Street and take approximately an hour.  It is a gentle stroll with frequent stops around the town.. read more →
